The VISITATION will be held
at the funeral home on Sunday, June 2, 2013 between
6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

INTERMENT will be in
Taberville Cemetery,
Taberville, Missouri.

Clyde Emery "Doodlebug" Dines, son of John Leslie and Georgia Mae (Miller) Dines was born March 22, 1949 in Tucson, Arizona. He passed away Friday, May 31, 2013 in Butler, Missouri.

Clyde moved to Appleton City when he was very young and attended Appleton City School. He later moved to Independence, Missouri where he worked as a hod carrier for Haskell Construction and also George Hodges. After moving back to Appleton City he hauled logs and was also a "junker".

On January 30, 1970, Clyde married the love of his life, Marlyn Josephine Hodges, and he lovingly cared for her, while they resided in the same room at Willow Lane.

Clyde loved hunting, fishing and coon dogs, but his favorite dogs were his Chihuahuas, "Boo Dog" and "Skeeter". He loved to tell stories and was a member of the "Liars Club". He never knew a stranger and would help anyone who needed help.

Clyde was preceded in death by his father, John Les Dines; step-father, Pete McClure; brothers: Claude Edward Dines, Donald Lee Dines, Les "Jumbo" Dines; grandsons: Richard Allen Brewster, Travis Allan Brewster, Brett Michael Handley; great-granddaughter, Phalyn Nicole Paulson; mother-in-law, Gertrude Hodges.

Clyde is survived by his mother, Georgia Dines McClure; wife, Marlyn; children: Pam Brewster, Joanna Handley Allegro, Lori Chiles (Kevin), Mike Handley (Teddi); grandchildren: Casey Paulson, Heather Gunn, Shanda Foster, Tiffany Poole, Erika Handley, Joey Allegro; great-grandchildren: Madison Paulson, Cale Paulson, Hailee Gunn, Kristin Poole, Luke Poole; eight siblings: A.C. Dines (Margaret), Mary Carter (Everett), Rita Stewart (Danny), Buddy McClure (Chresteal), Rose Isaacson, Martha Garver (Lowell) Paula Santchez and Nancy McClure; nieces, nephews and many other family members and friends.
