1101 NE Independence Ave., Lee's Summit, Missouri on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at 11:00 a.m.

VISITATION will be held at Lee's Summit Community of Christ Church,
1101 NE Independence Ave., Lee's Summit, Missouri on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. prior to service.

INTERMENT will be in the Rockville Cemetery, Rockville, Missouri; committal has been postponed due to inclement weather. The committal will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at 1:00 p.m.

The family suggests MEMORIAL contributions can be made to Outreach International or their
Charity of Choice.

Clara Lucille (Roberts) Galloway, 91, daughter of Chester Leon and Ida Mary (Rapp) Roberts was born November 21, 1922 in Prairie City, Missouri. She departed this life Friday, January 31, 2014 in Lee's Summit, Missouri.

Clara was united in marriage to Allen "Bill" Milton Galloway on September 21, 1941 in Rich Hill, Missouri. During their marriage, they made their home in various areas in Missouri - Rockville, Nevada, Sweet Springs, Lee's Summit, and in Emporia, Kansas.

Clara, along with her husband, was very involved with building their children's future as entrepreneurs starting with the family farm. They have owned and operated a truck line, restaurant and boat marina. Before retiring, they went back to their family roots with a farm in Emporia, Kansas. They returned to Lee's Summit in 1981 to retire and be with their children.

Clara was a long time member of "Community of Christ" Church (RLDS), serving God through her work with Dough-Raisers, head cook for camps (youth camps, reunion, MDA), Tuesday Girls and the annual bazaar.

Clara is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Allen "Bill" Galloway in February, 2002; brother, Irving Roberts; grandsons: Alan Chamley and Jason West.

She is survived by her children: Carolyn Sue Chamley, Sylvia June West, Mary Allyn Barnes (Thomas), Julia Marlene Bredin (Jonathan), Chester Allen Galloway, Annetta Kay Toomey (Roger), and Dean Milton Galloway; 23 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

Clara's life was centered around her love and dedication to her family. She was always involved with every detail of their lives. She had an unconditional love for them all. Her big heart and unconditional love touched many lives. She gave openly and freely to anyone in need. Her home was always open to others. To know her was to love her.
