Brenda Kay Casey, daughter of Mary Katherine (Parrish) Vogel and Theodore Lindsay, Jr., was born June 6, 1957 in Kansas City, Missouri. She passed away suddenly November 5, 2008 at her home in rural Montrose, Missouri at 51 years of age.
Brenda had lived in Kansas City, Belton and then the last two years were spent in the Montrose, Missouri area. Brenda and Bobby Joe Casey were united in marriage April 28, 1978. She was an avid football fan especially following the Chiefs and cheering them on. She also enjoyed watching NASCAR and keeping up with #88, Dale Earnhardt, Jr. Her greatest love was her two granddaughters and spending time with them and with her nieces and nephews.
Preceding Brenda in death was her husband Bobby Joe. Survivors include her son Bobby Casey of Belton, Missouri; her mother and stepfather Mary and Kenny Vogel of Montrose, Missouri; two brothers, John Blackmon and Ron Starforth both of Harrisonville, Missouri; three sisters, Kathy Mitchell of Windsor, Missouri, Tina Carroll of Harrisonville, Missouri and Debbie Goth of Appleton City, Missouri; and two granddaughters, Britney and Kayla Casey both of Calhoun, Missouri.
