Services will be Thursday, June 2, 2011 at 2:00 in the afternoon at Hill and Son Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 2, 2011 from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. at Hill and Son Funeral Home.

Pastor Tony Reynolds will be officiating.

Burial will be in the Appleton City Cemetery.

Memorial is to the Family Love Fund in care of Hill & Son Funeral Home.

Betty Jean Wareham, 73, of Appleton City, Missouri passed away Sunday, May 29, 2011 at St. Joseph Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. "Jeanne" was born on September 22, 1938 in Osceola, Missouri, the daughter of Lorin Allen and Pearl Irene (McIntire) Miller. On August 3, 1955 Jeanne married Donald "Pete" Wareham in Osceola, Missouri.

Jeanne worked full time for many years as a babysitter and enjoyed being a seamstress. Jeanne's first and foremost was her family, then came camping and big family gatherings.

Preceding Jeanne in death were her parents, her husband Pete, her eldest daughter Liz and an infant brother, Lorin Allen Miller, Jr.

Survivors include one grandson, Lucas Sean Young of the home, who was her companion and caregiver 100% of the time since his grandfather's death; two daughters, Bonnie Noble and companion Bob Greufe of Montrose, Missouri and Paula and husband Mark Gray of Schell City, Missouri; three sons, Donald Eugene Wareham and wife Rhonda of Appleton City, Lorin Lee Wareham and wife Karen of Florida, David Neal Wareham and wife Kim of Appleton City; one sister Donna K. Morgan and husband Tom of Knob Noster, Missouri; one brother James Lee Miller, Sr. of Louisiana; 21 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
