Berniece Park Niemann, daughter of Gomer and Rosa (Snyder) Park was born in St. Clair county Missouri December 29, 1918. She passed away peacefully on June 18, 2010 at her son's home in Appleton City, Missouri at 91 years of age.
Berniece was born and raised in the Appleton City area. Berniece was married to Eugene Edward Niemann oh August 27, 1947. She enjoyed working as a waitress at the Dew Drop Inn and the Blue Inn. She also worked as a telephone operator and helped keep books for Niemann Plumbing and Heating. Berniece worked in the kitchen at Ellett Memorial Hospital until she retired in 1984.
Berniece attended Trinity Lutheran Church for many years. She enjoyed bowling at Frontier Lanes in Appleton City and attending square dances, cooking and taking care of her large vegetable garden. Berniece found her greatest joy in being with her family.
Preceding Berniece in death were her parents, her husband Eugene Niemann, infant daughter Janet Berniece brothers Bernard Park and Ival Park, sisters Lorene Shoemaker and Nola Fitch. Survivors include a son Kelly Niemann and wife Susie of Appleton City, Missouri, grandsons Erin Niemann of Appleton City, Missouri and Jake Niemann of Appleton City, Missouri, a brother Bill Park and wife Julie of Appleton City Missouri and many nieces and nephews. Berniece will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
