Thursday, October 10, 2013.
Visitation: 6:00 - 7:00 p.m..
Rosary: 7:00 p.m..
INTERMENT will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Montrose, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests MEMORIALS can be made to
St. Mary's Cemetery or Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Alvin Bernard Jurgensmeyer, son of John and Agatha (Walther) Jurgensmeyer was born June 10, 1928. He passed away Monday, October 7, 2013 in Kansas City, Missouri at the age of 85.
Alvin was born and raised on the family farm in Montrose, Missouri. He farmed all his life and was a Pinochle Champion. He was a lifelong parishioner of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Montrose.
Alvin was married to Ellen Frances Rotert on September 14, 1954 at St. Ludger's Catholic Church in Germantown, Missouri.
Preceding Alvin in death were his parents.
Surviving Alvin are: his wife, Ellen; sons: Larry Jurgensmeyer (Peggy), Eugene Jurgensmeyer (Nancy), Norman Jurgensmeyer (D'Anna), Dennis Jurgensmeyer (Corinne), Jeffrey Jurgensmeyer (Pamela); daughter, Denise Guzman (Adam); grandchildren: Jennifer Harwell, Sarah Simko, Kristal Moran, April Hart, Cody Jurgensmeyer, Alysa Guzman, Erica Guzman, Eli Guzman, Julia Jurgensmeyer and Jenna Jurgensmeyer; great-grandchildren: Angel Jurgensmeyer, Spencer Jurgensmeyer, Russell Howell, Audrey Harwell, Logan and Kylie Moran.
