Edward Aaron Siegismund was born at the family home near Rockville on November 9, 1932 to George and Elsie Siegismund. He passed peacefully to his heavenly home on March 7, 2012.

Aaron spent nearly all of his 79 years farming within a mile of his birthplace, except two years, 1953 to 1955, when he served in the U.S. Army. Aaron was a member of Rockville Methodist Church and served the church faithfully in many areas especially in the rebuilding after the fire in 1980. He also served several years on the Appleton City School Board.

Aaron was a farmer who loved the time spent in the fields, caring for his livestock and anticipating the growing and calving seasons.

Aaron was united in marriage to Mabel Hearting on November 10, 1957 and to this union five children were born.

Aaron is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mabel; daughter Robin, son Daniel and wife Kim, son Mark and wife Sherrie, daughter Rachel and husband Brian Clark and son Philip and wife Susan; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by three sisters, Georgia Williams, Sara Hearting and Emma Cassity; sister-in-law Margie Siegismund and brother-in-law Howard Heiserman. He was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter Amber Siegismund, brother Andrew Siegismund and sister Dorthy Heiserman.
